The Murray Hill Wee Ones club is a small, private preschool in the heart of Manhattan. Our goal was to use social media to build greater community awareness of the small school, and drive enrollment inquiries. I managed organic content across Instagram and Facebook, emphasizing short-form video and daily stories, and managed several paid ad campaigns.

One of my earliest successes was a series called "Teacher Feature," which I created to highlight our wonderful staff. This was especially important to both attract new families and maintain engagement from current families. Covid-era virtual open houses and parent/teacher conferences resulted in a lack of meaningful face time between teachers and parents, and I wanted to help current parents feel connected to their children's teachers, in addition to humanizing the school for prospective families who couldn't visit for in-person tours. I collected light-hearted trivia about our staff (hometown, favorite picture book, favorite after-school snack, etc.), and constructed a series of posts featuring each teacher. Each Teacher Feature post comprised three slides: one title slide with the teacher's official school portrait, a popular "starter pack" meme illustrating their fun fact trivia, and a photo of that teacher back in their own preschool heyday. Even after in-person open houses, tours, and meetings resumed, this series remained popular with viewers, garnering high engagement.
